You Were There - Poem by Aldo Kraas

You were there
When I meeded you
And you took me home
Because you knew
That I was feeling so tired
After I waited
On the subway for your arrival
And then you came
Not on the right time
But 15 minutes late
Because you can't always
Count on public transit
Even though they are always
Running behind scheduled
Every single hour of the day
But we pay enought for transportation
And the service is lousy
Every single day
