You Were There Now I Am - Poem by Elvia Mendez

♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Brother of mine you were there when i took my very first steps
You were there when i went in the pool for the first time
You were there when i won you in a game that was so hard to pass
Now, i am there for you and will always
From ground, to Heaven from the waves to the shore
Me and you are close as I thought
Even in the pool on hot days
We still are in touch from my heart and life
I love you Brother of mine and will always do even when we meet in heaven
You'll say she is a great
never late
