You Weren'T Alone - Poem by Deep Sea

Life has its ups and downs.
Much like a roller coaster...but this one we all board, but never get off.
Sometimes we can be soaring up high.
But then something will knock us down.

Sadly, I have seen you get knocked down one to many times in a short while.
You have become fragile.
It seems that even the slightest wrong move may now break you.
Once broken, people can not be repaired.
So I fear for you.
I try to protect you from harm.
Many a times tho, you will push me away.

You try looking for happiness in places that hold little hope.
More and more you can not find it.
So you started pushing others away.
But I do not blame you for this.
I know how you feel for I have been to dark places too.

It may feel as if your alone in this world...but your not.
You may feel as if you can't be without him...but you can.
Time doesn't heal all wound.
But I will always be there to try and heal.
Even if it leaves a scar, atleast you'll know you weren't alone for it.

I'm not sure if taking care of other person's decisions is the right way... Everybody has got the right to choose a place where they feel comfortable and meet a partner they are happy with... 'Protecting' them from getting it all can cause a lot of unnecessary mistakes...
Good write... thank you for sharing...
