In twilight dreams, before you breathed, I held a world of hopes, conceived. Your heartbeat, like a secret song, I whispered prayers, that you grow strong.

Nights were long, with quiet fears, Yet joy arose, as months turned years. I felt your kicks, a dance, a sign, A bond unseen, your soul and mine.

The days crawled by, each one a test, Anxious thoughts and little rest. Preparing rooms, with care and love, Awaiting you, my treasure trove.

Through doctor visits, and sleepless nights, With every worry, came new delights. The stress was real, but so was the joy, Anticipating our baby boy.

With morning light, your cry was born, A fragile dawn, a brand new norm. Your tiny fingers wrapped in mine, A love unchained, a bond divine.

Eyes wide open, searching, seeking, Your presence filled the world with meaning. Soft lullabies and midnight calls, Together, we braved the infant calls.

Days and nights blurred into one, Diapers, feedings, the work begun. Endless tasks, yet love so deep, In tired eyes, sweet memories keep.

First steps, first words, milestones made, In every tear, and every band-aid. The work was hard, but love sustained, Through every laugh, and every pain.

From crawling dreams to standing tall, First steps echo, down the hall. Your laughter spilled, a joyous sound, A curious spirit, life unbound.

With tiny backpack, off to school, A milestone reached, a precious jewel. Colors and letters, friends and play, You grew wiser, every day.

The years sped on, you found your voice, In teenage times, where paths diverge. With cap and gown, you took the stage, A new chapter, a turning page.

Pride and joy, our hearts did swell, With every story, you had to tell. We cheered, we clapped, for all you'd done, My brilliant, shining, growing son.

Now comes the time, for one more change, With boxes packed, a life's rearrange. I watched you drive, away that day, Tears fell silently, as you moved away.

A bittersweet, profound goodbye, Yet in my heart, no need to cry. For in your journey, near or far, I'm with you always, my guiding star.

Now grown, a man with dreams in hand, You've built your life, on solid sand. A partner found, love's sweet embrace, I see your joy, in every trace.

Now a father, a child of your own, The cycle turns, love has grown. I see my hopes, in your tender care, A legacy, that we both share.

From womb to world, through trials and cheer, My son, my heart, my life's premiere. In your child's eyes, I see anew, The love that once, I gave to you.

So onward, with love's endless chain, Through joy and sorrow, loss and gain. My son, my pride, my life's domain, In you, my love will forever remain.

I miss you more than life can say. All i could do went away that day.
Your love your laugh, your incredible charm. My life disappeared that midnight with you in my arms.
