You Will Remember Love - Poem by Twisted Moon

Maybe one day in a million years,
You will stumble upon and read this,
And you will remember our thoughts and fears,
And the foolish and sexy bliss,
And it's me you will miss,
And you will remember love.

Maybe one day you will think of our every past instance,
All of the laughing and playing and making love,
Floating along in beautiful ignorance,
Being all one another thought of,
And you will remember love.

Maybe one day the world will end,
And you will wonder what went wrong,
You will lament that I was only your friend,
And wish it had not taken so long,
And you will listen to this song,
And you will remember love.
