You Wished A Talented Man Poem by Mohammad Younus

You Wished A Talented Man

You wished a talented man,
When you created me;
Where did I do the wrong,
That I could not show my talent?
Like one who falls in love,
I started writing mystical poems;
Nay, you reveal the poems,
I just type them;
Plunging my glances deep,
In your manifestation ―
I see roses in thorny bushes,
I see your light in darkness,
I see only you showing up,
In multifarious faces,
In the world of your manifestation.
