Young Love Poem by Aurora Ulch

Young Love

Just a trail of pedals
As Im walking so light on my feet
Never thought I'd follow
A path that's so sweet

How can a touch
Make you feel like your in a dream
How can your eyes
Make me feel like I'm swimming in a stream

Like a waterfall; so rapid
I'm falling too fast
But even when I land
I never seem to crash

Cradling me in your arms
Like I'm a precious piece of glass
Hearing the rumors of young love
That this is never going to last

So you run your fingers through my hair
Promising to always be there
And you'll look at me with watery eyes
Whenever comes the thought of goodbyes

Believing that the moments he brings me
Was only created to end
Are only for the people that believe
That young love is pretend
