Young Man Poem by Pushkar Joshi

Young Man

Young Man

Raised under the eyes with great expectations,
Always to abide & follow what was taught,
were the biggest tasks of his life.
Forced to do something never intended,
That's how life was on a move.

Around the world he sees
Souls under the hands of devil.
Down to earth he is, not only to show
People drowning him down in the ocean of dark
Swimming to reach the shore.

Learns to survive on his own
Game of life still not known
Thinks love might change his thoughts
Chose a wrong way of loving someone to the core
Broken heart was all, he was left with.

Young man has seen more than he has lived
Lost with pain and nothing to gain
Only last wish he wishes to be fulfilled
Is to rest in peace in the place
where only the shadow of God could reach.
