Your Beauty Poem by Devon Tremblay

Your Beauty

Rating: 5.0

Starring deep into your soul
Our bodies shivering from the cold
I look back to all our memories
They eat away like a disease
Constant reminders, even in my sleep
You're the reason that I weep

I would like to see you again
Even if we were just humbled friends
We live in our Beauty and Sorrow

Staying up writing love songs
Confused on how we were wrong
Bit by bit, piece by piece
Dragging it along through a dark love song

Agony is pressing from the inside
All this sorrow that I try to hide
A bitter taste of sadness
My heart shadowed by darkness

My sadness leads to bitterness
Bitterness leads to no satisfaction
The soul is unfulfilled with knowledge
Redemption building from the ruins
Your light clears my blemishes
