Your Eyes Poem by Amanda Boucher

Your Eyes

You make me stop in my tracks
I gasp for something to say
Just the sight of your smile makes me feel your warmth
The twinkle in your eyes dances in the air
The words seems to vanish like the lonely feeling I had
In midair the sparks light up your strong, masculine figure
The doubt that I had are behind me, out the door where you came in
The touch of your hands awake me from the deep sleep
Your feet dances over the floor to pick mine up
The light feeling that filled my heart lifts me up into the air
Our feelings send an overwhelming thunder through my head
The earth starts to shake when our bodies meet at last
The smell of your humaneness fills the room
The sound of your silent roar fills my emptiness
The movement of our dancing souls is a sweet sign
On this moment everything has stopped to be the way I knew it
At this moment an unknown me has come to the rescue
Someone that has waited so long be recognized
Thanks for being a part of the me that you have created
