Your Kiss Poem by Paula Robinson

Your Kiss

Exuding confidence, that’s me
Toss of the head, a laugh in glee
Strutting walk, head held high
Pondering the evening sky

Return of a strangers smile
Would I like to talk a while?
Of course I would, it is my pleasure
Laughing beyond endless measure

So the conversation starts
Tete a Tete and heart to hearts
Trading stories, sharing dreams
Comparisons of tattered seams

Unfamiliar feelings set
A spiders web, an Anglers net
Imagination running wild
Excitement of a curious child

You’re leaning in
It’s come to this
I’m waiting
Breathless…
For your kiss
