Your Love Letters For Her Poem by Phoenix1 Smith

Your Love Letters For Her

While walking along in a silent park...
willow tree I saw, lurking in its tiny bark,
chirping and sending tune is a tiny lark
the bird moved and settled by my side
in an instant the sky started to be dark

cold whistling breeze started to flow
cooing bird's eyes was staring at me
seems saying it wanted me to know
winds flew a message for me to see
gliding slowly a paper fell near my toe

gazing at it, premonition told me so
this will bring utmost sadness in tow
still I can't help but see what's written
I opened the letter and love in it I saw
undying ardor pledged, noted in glow

emotion sincere and profound he wrote
'that even through the passing of time
she will always stay in my heart forever'
to him and everyone the most beautiful
an innocent love for sweet, wonderful girl

I am now missing my own sweet darling
its been awhile. I've not heard or seen
him for more than three months or so
the letter I saw made me love him more
where can he be, does he miss me too?

suddenly, words on the paper turns into red
below, the vivid lines is a name that I know
It's him! my love, my darling I am missing
eloquently sends his love for a sweet lass
any excuse can't appease my grieving heart

how can you ever do this to me my love?
have you ever imagine how I could deal?
don't you know I have a heart, I also feel?
your love letters for her, now I have seen
immense desire for the girl of your dreams

this day I can never forget, the day I felt,
almost died for this indescribable and
massive pain pierced through my heart.
the lark, this lonely park saw me suffer
when I read your sweet love letters, for her...
