Your Loving Touch Poem by Namita Rani Panda

Your Loving Touch

When the turbulence in my heart
freezes into a mammoth mountain of snow
and makes me sick, suffocated and slothful;
the loving warmth of your touch
unfreezes my colossal agony
that is poured out as priceless pearls of tears;
that lave the gloom from my face
which glows again with hope and
exhilaration,
and my heart hops with a great joy and
jubilation.
When the whirlwind in my heart
uproots the flowering faith;
extinguishes the flames of love
and settles mountains of melancholy inside;
your caring words as super storms
blow away it as sorrowful sighs,
and sprinkle blissfulness to
germinate seeds of hope and love.
When paroxysm of grief dampens my heart
and makes my mind a bin of negativity;
a hearty hugging of yours dethrones the
deadly despair
and reinstates the monarchy of mirth,
the sovereignty of sunniness.
Hope and happiness shining with your love
rejuvenate my spirit
and my life takes a new birth like a
Phoenix in the heart of my heart.
