Your Paranoia Poem by Emily M.Vo

Your Paranoia

Lingering fadingly in the hazy atmoshpere,
Thick yet thin in its foggy presence;
What is that troubling, eerie being that gazes suspiciously?

It is merely the hiding shadow.

What does it seek beyong the realms of its empty soul?
There are different varieties of the types:

Forbidden intentions that crazes humanity,
Minor feelings of trickling fear and anxious apprehension,
Deranged emotions of betrayal and bitter fusions,
Exaustion to the point of unnecessary self harm.

There may be more.

Such darkness, whether of signifigance or not, that closes in suffocation.
Why must it torture and unsettle?

Trickling lightly in the troublesome back of the thinking brain,
Shrouding the positive remnants as it slowly dominates,
Slowly ridding of your secure and sheltered happiness,

Your burdensome paranoia.
