Your Royal Shyness Poem by Adeleke Leke

Your Royal Shyness

Life is not complete if not led.
Words are meaningless if not heard,
The cry for battle is not fierce if not fought
A thief remains innocent if not caught.
for it takes two to tango
your royal shyness!
How long, spare a twinkle, and tell how long,
Make haste, for you will not be forever young,
Let the feeling flow, expose and be clear.
for it takes two to tango
your royal shyness!
The peacock is exalted by its feathers and crown,
Why make a smile when your heart frown,
look! this has to halt, turn and make a right.
Love conquers all scary mountains, even heights!
for it takes two to tango
your royal shyness!
She was taken out of your ribs, so why shy?
She is the weaker vessel, why not try?
After all battles won, she completes your victory
After all, she as been the best companion from history.
for it takes two to tango
your royal shyness!

Adeleke, this was beautifully written. My favorite line is 'the cry for battle is not fierce of not faught.' Well done! Thank you for commenting on my poem. It was nice to hear some feedback.
