stuck in your own little world
you weep
so deeply aware of your sufferings.
every tear drips pain.
over and over you repeat your favorite phrase,
'no one understands.'

will you open your eyes? and
see
the tears of millions shed.
hear
the cries of those in misery.
feel
the pain others but you will never go through.
dare you still say no one understands?

stuck in your own little kingdom,
crowned with self inflicted misery,
you sit upon that throne of self pity.
do you enjoy it?
