Your Sins Into Me Poem by Allyson Gordon

Your Sins Into Me

The poison from your heart
Sinks slowly into me
You are now free of pain
But who will save me?

I take your darkness
To heal you of sorrow
I am now bound to life
But you are endlessly free

When I cry, I cry your tears
When I bleed, it’s your blood running
You’re soul is embedded in me
Yet still I am hollow

Without the burden of despair
You’re as light as a feather
but I am sinking deeper
For both our souls I carry
