Your Soul Should Be A Priority

Is it the early morning hours,
Or late at night, it's just an hour pass midnight,
The moon is floating above me, showing a reflection,
Of the suns bright light.
Three more days in January, the first month,
In the year twenty - twenty - three,
Friends are like years, the longer you live, the fewer,
You have left to see, this life is a collection of memories,
Sooner or later, that's what each of us will be.
We never know when we will see someone,
For the very last time, it's sad so many play games,
With crazy reasons, just to mess with someone else's,
Mind, others only talk to you, when their life is in a bind.
After your last breath, your body, and material possessions,
Will be left out of your way, your soul will journey on,
Seeking perfection, in every way, that is the future,
For all of us, your soul should be a priority,
In this life every day.
