Yours In God Poem by Dr. Ramesh Chandra Mukhopadhyaya

Yours In God

Those who write
Yours in God
have found life in death
Though their mortal bodies
remain aworking
they are dead from the earthly
point of view
and alive in God
I worship the dead
Because they are in God
Hence ancestor worship
The earlier one dies
the earlier he goes to God
who is our Father
Like little children
we came out from our home
to this world
driven by curiosity
And here we have found
imps in the attire of saints
deaths minions
in apparition of a doctor
devils disciple
in the robes of a teacher
Death has been costly
because of the doctors
I want to die free of cost
If I could ie today
I must not die tomorrow
I want to go back to my Father
Only then I could
end a letter addressing you
Yours in God
I donot know whether
you shall be able to read it
