Yours Sincerely Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Yours Sincerely

Come ye down to my house
to comforts you once knew;
hurry on down to my house
I'll be waiting here for you.

Now you are so faraway
I never feel like singing;
and love's eternal flame
is misleading and deceiving.

But I still think about you
for I am 'yours sincerely'...
you may become a stranger
this is what I'm fearing!

Living is not the same
without your music playing
there is no romance in my heart
for fun-filled days I'm praying.

So come on down to my house
and admire the country view
hurry on down to my house
together we'll see life through.
