Yumé Poem by Inday Prising

Yumé

your whispers are taunting my dreams
when I close my eyes
I hear your hushed voice
they're drowning me into oblivion
once again

sweet nothings
filled with livid yet broken promises,
images of distant dimmed lights
and sound of thundering heartbeats,
a moment when everything felt right
embraces the shattered parts of my being

forever engraved in my dreams...
