Zak The Black Bird - Poem by Joseph Breyan
I am a little black bird, flying in the sky,
Looking down on everyone, oh my? oh my?
Little boys and girls having so much fun,
Gosh! I wish I could play with everyone.
Oh look! There's Granny filling up my tray,
I'll wait until she goes in I don't want to scare her away,
There's Samantha, Rachel, Lola, Rebecca, and Brittney,
Running over to try to catch me but I can't stay
I'll hang around until they get close
It's that cat that wants to get me the most
Still assured I'm glad that I am here
Having so many friends that are dear.
