When I think of all the flies i've killed
it must be hundreds.
That's a lot of blood that's been spilled.
I prefer to use a newspaper
rather than use flypaper or spray.
Using a spray is a more cruel and slower
death for the poor creature, who never did anything
apart from being a bit of a pest and spoiling your dinner.
Using a spray is akin to someone
pretending they are posh and well bred
saying to everyone, 'Oh the flies in Keenya are just awful.'
The flies of today
are hardier than the flies of old
they are becoming immune to the spray
and they are getting bigger and more arrogant and bold.
The spray is harmful to the environment
and so is the newspaper.
So buy an electric bug zapper
instead of hitting them on the napper.
