Ziya & The Professor Poem by Sumita Jetley

Ziya & The Professor

In a quiet study, bathed in light,
Ziya sat with stories in sight,
But fiction's lure began to fade,
For deeper truths her soul now craved.

Across the room, the professor wise,
With gentle words and knowing eyes,
Spoke of life's simple, hidden grace,
Where truth and beauty find their place.

"Stories live in the here and now,
In every breath, in every vow.
Not in pages, distant lands,
But in the moment, where truth stands."

Ziya smiled, her heart awake,
Seeing life with a clearer gaze,
No longer lost in tales of old,
But in reality, pure and bold.

The world outside, no longer blurred,
Became the story, every word.
In every sunrise, every sound,
The Divine's presence now was found.

Life itself, her favorite book,
Each moment a page, each glance a look,
At the sacred, the true, the real,
Where fiction fades and truth reveals.
