Your first drunk like stumble out of the shack is a rude one
A shock of light like glass in your eyes, hold still and let them accept the sun
Finally you adjust your aching eyes
Look up hold on, you’re in for another surprise
Trees, trees everywhere what the hell is going on?
Where the hell could you be? You were taught all the trees were gone
The last of the forests were supposed to have been taken in 2019
And yet here you are witnessing all of the leaves so shockingly green
So accustomed to your world filled with dull gray sky scrapers
So familiar to your life of filling out redundant white papers
But never mind all the trivial scenery
Your god damn hungry and all you can think of is greenery?
No idea where you are yet all you can think of is your appetite
Got to find a way out of here so you can eat and fulfill your plight
What’s that noise you hear?
You know that noise, there is running water near
You stumble and scamper towards the source
You feel so awful it feels as though inside you a poison is running its course
Your veins feel as if their pumping acid
Your Mind pulsating with pain, is all but placid
Never mind all that though
You may be feeling pain from head to toe
But its nothing compared to your rising hunger
This starvation is tearing your sanity asunder
Finally you reach a soft flowing stream
You fall to your knees, look into the water, see your reflection and scream.
