Sound Poem by Kaeim Latrom

Sound

It's flowing down,
can you hear that sound?
But it stops, stops flowing down.
You can't hear that sound.
I'll jump on your count.
One, two and three,
will you miss me?
What's inside that I can't see?
Is this real? Am I dreaming?
Oh it hurts, this is reality.
Right, I feel like a celebrity.
Watch me, I have nothing here.
It's all passing like the air.
It's all bare and I'm aware.
If I tear it apart will it flow again?
I open my eyes and it flows again.
If I light a fire will it retire?
If I don't hold it down,
you'll hear that sound.
