Stained Neon Glass

Stained Glass colors the rows of pews
Holy windows deliver shadowed ones in
Basilica's heart, heal us light's brilliant hues
Body, soul, and wine cleanse us of sin

Neon lights tempt human condition's fate
Temptation driven beacon, signal sin
Welcome fabulous visitors, fresh neon bait
Cast shadows behind those who walk in

Stained Neon Glass marries heavens child and wayward whore
To tempt is to know, reveal innate flaws
Uncover our weakness, knees on floor
Combine the signs, forgive true human laws

Go and sin no more
