And that money speaks all languages that goes for one and all
But that money cannot buy happiness that seems so very true
And to the battlers who keep keeping on great credit must be due,

In life we get what we wish for this is not a lie
The man who wished for death he got his wish to die
In his mid twenties death came to him all too soon
He decided to shoot himself in the mid afternoon

Though you feel like banging your head on a wall
Compared to some others your problems seem small
With a roof over your head and enough for to eat
You are far better off than the hungry and homeless who live on the street.

He tells me of his problems with his ex wife
He blames her in part for his terrible life
Their five year old daughter she won't allow him to see
He should talk to his lawyer instead of telling me
...

My problems as a writer is I've written too much stuff
And much of it is slipshod and looking rather rough
Just an ageing Poetaster is all I can wish to be
And penning stuff a hungry game for a scribbler like me

Though their problems to you may seem small their problems to them are so real
For we do not live in their shoes and we cannot feel how they feel
And we cannot think how they think about their crosses of life
We cannot put ourselves in their place they too have their own inner strife.

Worrying never solves any problems it only makes you feel quite ill
And worrying will not raise the money you need for to pay your next bill
You may as well laugh as be tearful for laughter on one eases the mental strain
You laugh and the whole World laughs with you the truth in that with us remain,
