That You Have Big Problems Poem by Francis Duggan

That You Have Big Problems

Though you feel like banging your head on a wall
Compared to some others your problems seem small
With a roof over your head and enough for to eat
You are far better off than the hungry and homeless who live on the street.

That you have big problems happens to be true
But there are so many far worse off than you
Life is not meant to be easy to many does apply
And many never know success though hard for it they try.

Of late you have given some thought to suicide
For your lack of money a huge dent to your pride
You feel that your good days are forever gone
But still you hang in there and you soldier on.

Yet that many are worse off than you of that you are aware
And millions are hungry and homeless in the big world out there
For money you owe them creditors bang on your door
But the future for you may have good things in store.
