The Lonely Bird
I am a bird, light in his wings. Never bothered anyone and asked nothing. I flew in a group which I felt I knew but all I was told wasn’t to be true. I lived my life all by myself, never coveted a feeder or anything else. I lived in a flock that enjoyed wanting to live under my wing the shelter that I give. But when father turns his watch, the weather gets cold, that’s when the true feather shows.
