Richard William Davies Poems

I Could skip across the rocks,
Or get wet treading the stream,
But no matter what happens in Court,
I'll still fulfil my dreams.
...

With the weight of the world on my shoulders,
Tears run from my eyes,
Sat in my hotel bedroom,
Watching the world go by.

That Mood.

I Could skip across the rocks,
Or get wet treading the stream,
But no matter what happens in Court,
I'll still fulfil my dreams.

The waves come from the ocean,
The heat comes from the sun,
I've been to hell and back in life,
But it's time i now had some fun.

The sands blow across the desert,
The breeze will blow through the trees,
I've got to stop feeling sorry for myself,
And I think everyone else agrees.

As typhoons batter the islands,
The thunder and lightning strikes,
It's about time i had a wake up call,
And just got on with my life.

I look forward to the summer as I anticipate the court case,
I'll try my best to stay calm as the sun shines in my face,
I feel sick with the voice still haunting me when I have my dinner,
But come the end of the court case I'm sure to be the winner.
