Ricky Bingenheimer Poems

a tale told softly
with a message old as time
sitting in a restless world
an ever changing mind
...

The night

It takes the sky
And people run and hide
...

As the sun rolls back over the hills,
Darkness retrieves.
A tree brings up its roots,
It shakes its leaves,
...

dancing lightly in sweet whispers
swift and agile, ever-changing wind
pure held gaze from depths deep below minds cause
careful bold of this is that

To rest upon a flowing path
Time falters knowing names
A mind set on weary pain
To stop on such of sights

We see
As worlds unravel
To see pieces of the whole
Always looking, never seeing

As the day grows gray,
The night breaks through.
Then we wonder who
Takes the light from the skies,

Built strong
never failing
ment to carry all
great hands

I worked hard to learn them
every little detail of the maze we call life

...

to know of which on high

to of could never be found

Past And Present

a tale told softly
with a message old as time
sitting in a restless world
an ever changing mind

pressed to move
with an urge to stay
a tie bonding each moment
each different

precious is that which we remember
for we are even what we forget
the blaring moments we have now
will become a dull gleam of our past
important to know, pale to who we are

A man of great wisdom, who is not afraid to ask those important questions that we can never put into words. A philosopher of sorts, a title I will always covet, and truly admire. This man will go far, I can feel it in my bones.
