Rue Kendra Poems

It's passed, gone
What once was, its lost
You can chase, stab at it-
In the end you can beg.
...

And I wonder again
Will I lose you if I speak
Your more than a friend
But are we strong? Are we weak?
...

The war is in my mind.
The wounds are on my body.
I've always drawn in lines,
Cause you can trust those lines
...

That hurt.
That hurt to.
Again, that hurt.
Please stop, that hurt.
...

Silent.
Grey and pinkish.
I take a deep breath in of half of an unlit cigarette,
Placing the blade to me soft tan skin
...

You live, you hope, you try to fight
Your monsters, your demons, your weakness,
For freedom.
Your bones break, you start to decay,
...

Always have I walked alone
Everyone's farther away
Even so, I kept walking.
That was my strength.
...

It's passed, gone
What once was, its lost
You can chase, stab at it-
In the end you can beg.
Yet like a seasons change
It can not; will not be the same
You wish and you dream
But when you feel the finality-
If and only if you feel it
Then you understand
It's the past. It's gone.
That's when
You; I
Can move on.
