To get out from the nightmare it was in; the nightmare had no way out

Darkness
As I entered the room I could only see darkness; no light
There was something in there that was trying with all its might,
To get out from the nightmare it was in; the nightmare had no way out
It cried and cried trying to find a way out but all it did was shout
There is no way out I said
I knew there was no way out which just brought me more dread
It got angry fighting to find a way out and poof it was gone
I saw light that was shone throughout the whole room it was dawn
I smiled but that smiled only lasted a few
The darkness came back and it was true,
That this was a nightmare; a dream
But what I dreamed was like something no one has ever seen
