(Explanation: For those of you who are not familiar with some pastry-related terms: black-jack is sugar that has been burned while trying to be caramelized and is very bitter, cloying means something is much too sweet for the palette, petite fours are little cakes with a glaze over them, and coulis is a sweetened fruit puree)

I am the Sweet Girl, encrusted in sugar,
Covered in a crystalline glaze.
