My battlefield is the street
In this endless war I rage

I cannot escape
Deep inside my ravaged soul
Restless demon wait

If I die alone
With no one's hands to hold
It's 'cause no one ever told me
That the bottom was so cold

Save me from this nightmare that is my life
Save me from everything around me
That feels like it is closing in
That suffocates me with endless darkness
...

Shutting out this falling Earth
Rolling by on a paper hearse
Held aloft by hopes and dreams
Not as stable as it seems
...

If I should die before I wake
I pray the Lord my soul to take
There's nothing left to take away
Empty sorrow fills every day
...

Who will come and fight with me?
Tear down this so called 'Destiny'
I'm not the only one, you see
Who's tearing down the walls
