Comments about Serena Silenced
The Sound Of Silence
I gave you time, but I still wait.
Time is a silence I cannot escape.
I'm waiting for you to walk through the door.
For everything to be as it was before.
Silence is a tremendous sound-
When you can only hear your heart pound.
The thud, thud, thud of silence fills my head.
It lulls me to sleep in our bed.
Men Must Be Poetic
Men must be poetic.
They are full of mixed feelings, they are pathetic.
Some of them have children, and then they just walk away.
Never knowing if they are really okay.
Are they running around on the streets?
Are they hungry, do they have enough to eat?
Maybe I sound angry, vicious, and cruel.
Maybe I am; I'm tired of being the fool.
So, don't be offended if you have something slick you're trying to say-
