I DO NOT KNOW WHY IT HAPPENED TO ME

I do not know why it happened to me
I grew silent within myself

I vowed I would not say my father's famous words
'I should have could have I would have '
I do not know if I want to say them now
But somewhere in me is some longing unrealized

MY SADNESS TO STAY WITH

I don't know where I would go to often
If I did not have my sadness to stay with-

AT TIMES I REMEMBER TIMES OF MY LIFE

At times I remember times of my life
And I feel such sadness

THE MUSIC IS THE SOUL OF MY FEELING

The music is the soul of my feeling
It tells me deeper and truer than my mind
