Siya Pande Poems

</>Often I see myself sitting alone in my room,
And think of the world to be at its doom.
The doom of the world will leave nobody around,
And the same i feel now, as the only thing i hear is my heart's sound.
...

Fair skin, lean look, and a casual gait,
My first crush walked in through the college gate.

Love knew no boundaries, I knew this for sure,
...

Stretching her arms wide she calls,
Her once strong empire has now begun to fall.
The children no more hear her pain,
She is left all alone, but in vain.

I Feel Left

</>Often I see myself sitting alone in my room,
And think of the world to be at its doom.
The doom of the world will leave nobody around,
And the same i feel now, as the only thing i hear is my heart's sound.

Gazing through the balcony door, I see the cars go by,
It just leaves me all alone, with nothing but a sigh.
They make noise, as their horns beep,
But i feel left, in my heart so deep.

The switched on fan with its swirling sound mocks at me,
The empty room walls come closer,
The lights, though on, make the room so duller.
I realize that my soul yearns for a company, a company for me.

I wish I had someone,
Someone whom I could call a friend,
The presence of such a person,
with whom the life does not seems to be at its end.

But that is a mockery of life, which i have to accept,
I just can't feel anything,
Except for the fact, that i feel left
