as long as my eyes can hold
thy beauty dazzles me
like a warm shiver of cold

We adore those who condescend
So long the words gentle and swift
Shallow minds alike tend to foolish end
From worth to wealth an endless shift
...

When the music stops and wine sobers
And a static cold bed of refuge comforts

When friends part ways and lovers change hearts

These heavy clouds hovering over my head
Burdens me igniting a need to be freed
From a world that I can no longer read
Greed seeds breeding a world that bleed
