Lover From Afar Poem by Sonam Wangchuk

Lover From Afar

Rating: 3.5

From afar I see
as long as my eyes can hold
thy beauty dazzles me
like a warm shiver of cold

As long as I can think
I think of nothing but thee
me captain and my ship sink
in your thoughts I am free

Hair on you curls
twisting and turning into melody
like your body curves
every nerve and strength in me

Words I have plenty to say
but I just let it be
time and again I betray
the idea of you and me
