The cloud of happiness is same as its kin of misery,
for all the moments of life hath its salt and jaggery,
For your mate shall be in your thought forever,
and the sweet memories shall cherish you as ever

Again the day has arrived,
To mark our friendship, forever tied!
All these years of glory, full of achievements,
making us cherish all pleasant,

To keep a promise,
Made me compromise,
Swirling the tide, unneeded,
the sudden thoughts to which I heeded,

Poetry makes me feel myself,
when the world around me forces itself,
to be a baton whose fire I burrow,
from the trenches of the world's sorrow,

Selfish is this world,
so are these people,
other's inked word,
are presented as theirs, these people!

We the people, the potters of the globe,
in a position to achieve accolades,
harm ne'er we inflict upon any,
But the ignominy that we bear, are many!
