Isn't religion just a crutch...
Can you not deal with problems yourself?
Must you rely on everyone but yourself...

each night we can't talk,
seems forever and a half.
An oasis being the day

My love for you is like no other.
My heart is ablaze with an intensity
that none before could set
nor none after will be able to again,

Each day my life ticks by
and I can't help but wonder why,
why you turned me down,
why you said no...

I don't know why but she broke my heart,
like the others she left her mark.
I hide my pain from prying eyes
not wanting anyone to realize,

I want your love,
I want your devotion.
That's all I ask for,
It's all I could wish for.

I always feel alone,
my heart, made of stone.

I'd like some constructive criticism. Not that I don't appreciate the good things that have been said. :) I write about what I'm thinking of. Speaking of what I think... I believe the best thing that could happen to one of my poems is that someone actually prints it out and hangs it in their house or, someone memorizes one... That would be, amazing. But, that's probably just 'wishful thinking.' Hmm... Let's see, I'm eighteen years old... I love rock music, Skillet, Hollywood Undead, White Zombie... tons of others too... Meh, don't know what else to say right now, undoubtedly I'll think of something later when I can't get on, I'll see about writing more some other time.)

Knowing how much I care.
Am I a fool for believing
when you tell me you love me...
Or should I take every word
and hold them close to my heart...
I see the best and worst in you.
I've been with you through the good and bad.
I'd gladly go throught it all again...
as long as I'm with you
everything will be alright.
