Tamara Lieber Poems

On the surface it would seem,
He has the goods that make a dream.
But underneath that outer shell,
He is shallow minded, mean as hell.
...

Kole & Jeremy Oh! what can we say,
But 'thank you' boys for all the gray.
Stubborn and rowdy; squabble and fight,
But hugging and playing the very same night.
...

Sunlight trickles through tiny cracks
And falls like rain upon your sleeping smile.
Threadlike fingers clutch worn fur of 'Noel',
Your safety bear.
...

Little girls with silken hair,
The brightest eyes and skin so fair.
Raised like sisters, you argue and fuss,
Over silly things amusing to us.
...

With excitability and certain measure,
Calculations and nimble fingers,
You run, jump, and manuver with expertise.
A twinkle in your eyes of blue,
...

Love is a winding, twisting rope;
Which way next, not yet known.

Love is a kitten, playing with toys;
...

Bold and bright
A glimpse of light
Soft and young
A life newly begun
...

Tamara Lieber Biography

My poetry comes from the heart and life's teachings, both positive and negative. Those are the traits which make us who we are. I have lived in several places, but now claim the small town in which I was raised as home. I have a wonderful, close family and supportive husband. My two wonderful and intelligent children have taught me many lessons and provided much inspiration along with a few frayed nerves. I have a terrific, small, close-nit circle of friends who support and protect me. They are wonderful. I strongly believe that you get what you give in life, so the choice is always yours. I am gifted in the way that I am tremendously sensitve to the people, thoughts, emotions, and situations by which I am surrounded. Sometimes it is a blessing and other times, a curse.)

Getting Even

On the surface it would seem,
He has the goods that make a dream.
But underneath that outer shell,
He is shallow minded, mean as hell.
Those who follow him are the same,
And cast all men to awful shame.
Tricks, pranks, and childish play,
Begging for attention, a most infantile way.

Is this a form of ego inflation?
So fond of dirty deeds and agitation.
Think hard, soon you will see,
Who this pitiful soul could be.

It is easy, he doesn't hide it.
I will bide my time, not get excited.
End is near, justice will be done.
Then we shall see who has had the most fun.
