Come with me in the darkest of nights
And dance with me in the northern lights

Follow me into the bright yellow blaze
...

When I was little I used to pray
That God would just take me away
And give someone else another chance who's more deserving to stay
Someone that would appreciate every little bit of the day
...

On a journey
To the destination of None
Something stopped the car
Holding a passenger of one.
...

Black tears.
Numb heart.
Ringing ears.
Gone.

Drowning

I'm under a thousand tons of water in the middle of an oceanic abyss. So many hands tried to help pull me out, but not a single one has been victor. And I'm holding on with every bit and piece that I have in my body, in my mind, in my soul, in my heart; hoping that I make it out. Sometimes, I finally reach the surface, I find my way home, and the sky I see is so endlessly beautiful. God, I could stare into this sky for millions of lifetimes and even then, it would not be enough time. It brings me an unexplainable happiness. One that I wish everyone could feel because I can't fathom any other experience that could possibly be more magnificent.
But then I get propelled back into the crushing water that contains a shattering weight of pain. I feel as though every inch in my body has been slashed once more. And I'm lost again. So I isolate myself from the ones I love. Because maybe in the silence of pain I can find the answer as to why my eyes are not good enough to stare into an infinitely beautiful sky. But then there's times where I start to think that maybe I'm not meant to walk on the surface to see the sky. That maybe I need to learn how to breathe underwater.
