Discretely viewed by a man with a subdued face
Warily contemplating the possibility of prosperity

A cupcake takes the worry out of slicing
It's an individual cake without waste
It can be frosted with enticing icing…
designed to be savored without haste

From the day that they are born
they bring with them a special light
A beautiful glow that generates a smile...
Love is bestowed with a kiss good night

I was barely eye level to the kitchen counter
When I had my first wondrous visual encounter
Green branching leaves erupted from a clay pot
Fuchsia blooms sparked as though they were hot
