Showered With Ribbons And Bows Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Showered With Ribbons And Bows

Receiving a shower invitation requiring
a response… won't you come and join us
for fun and activities honoring the bride to be
starting a new adventure… make it a success

Chatty ladies ranging in age enter carrying gifts…
they know theirs is what the honoree wanted
They checked the bridal registry at a specific store…
nevertheless, their secret selection is guarded

Ribbons and bows decorate and enhance
the gifts wrapped in festive patterned paper
Ribbons and bows of shinny silkened colors
making this special occasion feel even greater

Generous bows with streamers turn into a
bouquet of blooming spring-like flowers
A lovely way to conglomerate the best wishes
of the celebration… it was a great bridal shower!
