Watched as each spring center field's growing vines
I spiraled upward to the top of Wrigley Field
Rode a screaming fire truck as all traffic yield

What has happen to expressing our feelings?
Misunderstandings abound and leave all reeling

What stops so many from being open and clear?

I ponder the question of how can it be?
Is there something wrong, is it her or me?

She became my student though we met at a dating site
...

I knew of someone so very long ago
She touched my life, my very soul
Our days were measured without the slightest of care
Those memories linger gently with no hint of despair
