Tovli Simiryan Poems

The river deepens.
Winter solace detaches;
blushing with sunrise.
...

From a deep storm
my view shrinks
against hunger
like cold corners
...

Across the prairie;
burning suns fuse horizon;
earth befriends heaven.
...

Sometimes I think a dark blue sky
with numbered stars
...

The snow is melting;
thunder above heaven growls,
splintering glaciers.

To understand
this connection with wandering,
walk near the breath of ocean,
or contemplate love
...

Sleep a raw deep
dream
that knows restfulness and let go
beneath our sorrowful tones;
...

Sounds of women
talking, pretending to speak
near hallways or kitchens—
they plant, harvest
...

Furrows of iron paths
disappearing into horizons,
meander impulsively
the way matches suddenly

The Best Poem Of Tovli Simiryan

The North Dakota Winter Haikus

The river deepens.
Winter solace detaches;
blushing with sunrise.

Shallowness impedes,
crowding inside radiance;
moths dissolve in flight.

G-d inhaling ice;
colder than distant moon-light;
this night of shadow.

Guard our deep secrets,
like darkness hiding in warmth.
the prairie curling,

floating into storm,
blizzards walking toward suns;
white silence—breathing.

River sprays color;
opening gardens like words;
leaf twirls silver air.

Sunrise is prison;
wisdom inside this journey,
last storm; summer birth.
