Revenge Of The Monsoon

See the clouds, they bring rain,
From the waves that touch your feet,
To be separated by this distance..

This earthy smell reminds me of the time,
And brings back the rush,
But oh! what a waste,
To think about the times which were never mine,
Only beautiful memories of my imagination..

To have gazed but not been seen,
To have spoken but not been heard,
To have loved but not been felt..

Oh sweet agony, please spare me,
Oh dear heartache, please subside,
Oh the swelling, from all these tears..

Finally the clouds blow away,
Taking the waves further away,
To perhaps remind another of the distance,
And hopefully not of the absence..

I shudder to think about tomorrow,
When again the waves will hit me,
Again the agony of your touch,
Again the feeling of loss,
Over and over,
Till the end of this season,
Which brings joy to all,
But only anguish and suffering to me..
